Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Dubbed the "King of Pop", he was one of the most popular entertainers in the world, and was the best-selling music artist during the year of his death.

NEVERLAND: was his famous ranch. Jackson named the property after Neverland, the fantasy island in the story of Peter Pan, a boy who never grows up. It was Jackson's home as well as his private amusement park and it contained a floral clock, numerous artistic garden statues, and a petting zoo.

BILLIE JEAN: was one of the best-selling singles of 1983 and became the biggest-selling single for Jackson as a solo artist. It helped propel Thriller to the status of best-selling album of all time. Jackson stated that the song was based on girls who had made the same claim about his older brothers, when he toured with them as part of The Jackson 5. However, some have theorized that the song is based on Jackson's own experience with a crazed fan.

BUBBLES: is a chimpanzee once kept as a pet by Michael Jackson, who bought him from a Texas research facility in the early 1980s. Bubbles frequently traveled with Jackson, leading to media mockery and a public perception of Jackson as eccentric. In 1988, the artist Jeff Koons made three identical porcelain sculptures, Michael Jackson and Bubbles, as part of his Banality exhibit. The piece became one of Koons' best known works.
