Jean Maurice Eugène Clément Cocteau (5 July 1889 – 11 October 1963) was a French poet, writer, designer, playwright, artist and filmmaker.

Cocteau's opium use and his efforts to stop profoundly changed his literary style. His most notable book, Les Enfants Terribles, was written in a week during a strenuous opium weaning.

CLUE#2 ORPHEUS

Is the name of the main character played by Jean Marais in his film of the same name. One of Cocteau's longest-lasting relationship was with French actor Jean Marais, Cocteau cast Marais in The Eternal Return (1943), Beauty and the Beast (1946), Ruy Blas (1947), and Orpheus (1949).

CLUE#3 LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES

Cocteau is best known for his novel Les Enfants Terribles (1929) It was made into a film of the same name, a collaboration between Cocteau and director Jean-Pierre Melville in 1950, and inspired the opera of the same name by Philip Glass.
