Stiv Bators (born Steven John Bator; October 22, 1949 – June 4, 1990) was an American punk rock vocalist and guitarist from Girard, Ohio. He is best remembered for his bands The Dead Boys and The Lords of the New Church.

CLUE#1 JIM

After he was hit by a car in Paris, he left the hospital without being seen because he was bored. He died in his sleep later than night. His girlfriend Caroline followed Bators' wishes to be cremated and spread over the grave of Jim Morrison.

CLUE#2 DEAD BOY

His band was called the Dead Boys, taking the name from their song "Down In Flames" ( "Dead boy, running scared").

CLUE#3 AIN’T IT FUN

A song from their 1978 second and final studio album We Have Come for Your Children. The song has been covered by bands such as Gun N Roses, it was written by Cheetah Chrome while being in his first group with Peter Laughner called Rocket from the Tombs.
